Hello.
Is there anybody in there? Just nod if you can hear me. Is there anyone home? ... There is no pain, you are receding. A distant ships smoke on the horizon. You are only coming through in waves. Your lips move but I cant hear what youre sayin. When I was a child I caught a fleeting glimpse, Out of the corner of my eye. I turned to look but it was gone. I cannot put my finger on it now. The child is grown, the dream is gone. I have become comfortably numb. - Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb Been going through my old photos, this was never intended to be on dA - it isn't a studio shot or anything like that. It's spontaneous. But I like it Something about being surrounded by people but still feeling completely disconnected. The guy in the foreground is Sean. He looks like he's troubled and he wants to shut everyone out so that he can think.
It fits well with the song as well I think, because whenever I listen to that song I get that kind of isolated feeling. And seeing as the film of The Wall is all about Pink going deeper and deeping inside himself and away from the real world, this photo fits well with that too.
The black and white has done the trick yet again!
